A new chapter can mean many different things. In this case, it's a new opportunity for those incarcerated.
Deanna Shultz was in attendance at Colorado Festival Production‘s Front Range Film Festival with her documentary short, A New Chapter. The documentary short explores the impact of Prison Yoga has on inmates. The Prison Yoga Project supports incarcerated people with trauma-informed yoga and mindfulness practices to promote rehabilitation, reduce recidivism, and improve public safety.
ProNerd Kerry got all the details on the impact of the project and its portrayal in the documentary.

One of the many short Colorado themed films showing at Colorado Festival Production's event in Longmont Colorado was Colorado Moose's. Colorado's Moose is a documentary short by Sean Ender that explores the reintroduction of moose into Colorado. Sean was onsite for the festival and sat down with Kerry to talk about the film and these amazing creatures.

It's easy to acknowledge how badly we miss conventions and festivals. So while we're waiting for future events to return, we continue to share the interviews from our recent shows attended, including The Front Range Film Festival.
Jakes Jordaan and Martin Soderhamn were in attendance promoting their pilot (short film) Apex Survival: The Expedition. The Apex Survival series not only explores the mysteries of the vanishing Great White shark in South African waters, but also the growing relationships among three strong, independent women forming special bonds while overcoming doubts and fears as they prepare to free-dive (no cage/no scuba) with a Great White.
Iggy sat down with the two to talk all things film, sharks, and the awesome personalities found within Apex Survival.

Claire Kendall is a dance choreographer from Colorado who partnered with Dillon Hinchliffe to create Project Finite, an environmental dance film seeking to inspire water conservation in Colorado. The film was showing at the Front Range Film Festival in Longmont, Colorado where Project-Nerd's Kerry sat down with Claire to discuss it in detail.

C2E2, the pop-culture event of Chicago, was as big as it has ever been, with talent up and down every aisle. In the heart of the floor was up-and-coming comic publisher Impact Theory Comics, started by entrepreneur Tom Bilyeu.
Tom had DJ superstar Don Diablo and world-renowned author Michael Moreci on hand to promote their new comic series, Hexagon, a coming-of-age space adventure created and inspired by Don Diablo. Iggy had the chance to chat with all three of the talented individuals about the new series and how the band of comic misfits came together to create something the industry is waiting on.
